Hong Kong - November 1, 2011 - Translink GP (ME) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Translink Global Processing, Ltd.
Translink is currently working with, Mr. Million Duguma, Ethiopia, to develop critical consumer infrastructure for the country of Ethiopia. The scope of the effort is to explore and work with Ethiopian banks to developing a processing switch network that would provide ubiquitous POS and ATM services to consumers and merchants.
Translink is also planning on providing its Paystar Remittance Services to network’s the member banks. In 2010, Ethiopia received $387 million in inward remittances from approximate 620 thousand emigrant workers. Countries most likely to have Ethiopian immigrants are the Sudan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Canada and Germany.
